Discussions on the Grey Mage's Skill Options.
Ok. I currently have a mage with lightning web syphon and BOMS 2. What i'm wondering is if i want more offense, do i switch BOMS out with either Mind rust or Shield rend, and should i switch syphon for shield and dagger or payback? Setup is
Hoska
Virgo Aspara WL Moren
Obviously if i switch to payback i would switch out virgo for something, maybe capricorn. Any who, what ya'll think?
Its a pike btw, the editing screwed up my diagram

Has anyone tried Cold Blood on their GM yet? I'm thinking of finally switching from Syphon, even though it's been quite effective for keeping my other fams alive, but I'm not 100% sure?
I can't imagine it being any better than CF on a front rowed GM and with only 20% more Mod.
The skill is independant so would be better for GM but with his attack.. I'm sure they will be bringing in a WIS counter skill at some point. They already have done with Yae. Just not one that is saccable yet.
I still think Syphon would be more effective still or even BoD for PvP.
EDIT I meant GF but Mogaekdb also has a good argument.
CB is better than CF or GF in any position because of the Envenom. I would seriously consider it for every event if you don't want to switch reactive skills. BoD is still a little better for WBT (if you use your WL) and for PvP, but the Rick James skill is lso a good choice.
Poison makes this skill far better than GF/CF for tower (if you use your WL which you shouldn't) and for Raid (only being bettered by (S&D, payback and S&D2.0)
The whole point of going first is that DEF matters less.
GM will give the highest GoW3 of all the Warlords as he has the highest WIS. A good sacrifice.
GoW3 with GaBi is a very good combo.
For PvP, Foul Play would be an upgrade to TotH.
Hi, I have a WIS type group. So any opening skill to recommend?
